Seriously cool things are happening in a pub on the South coast of the UK near Bournemouth in a little borough called Ashley Cross.

The Brit (formerly known as the Brittannia, based in Ashley Cross, Poole, Dorset) are hosting a a series of “Random Acts” parties brought to you by local legends such as Mike Artwell, Paul Potter & Bob Povey all getting involved with the Landlady Marianne Brown, another local legend on the scene and all round lovely and highly popular person.

Already hosting micro-events featuring Finlay Quaye and Bez from the Happy Mondays The Brit welcomes on Friday August the 8th Britsoul (pardon the pun) legends The Real Thing to the Pubs saloon in concert!

This like the previously mentioned events proves to be a uniquely intimate event not seen outside venues such as Londons Ronnie Scotts.

With tickets @ £20 for the show or £35 each including a 2 course meal from the adjoining Grill House Restaurant (recommended, best Burgers on the South Coast bar none) we can highly recommend this evening out
